In days of Abraham, in the bible, two angels were welcomed into Lots home in Sodom. Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city surrounded the house calling out to Lot, “Where are those men who came tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.” Lot pleaded to them not to do such a wicked thing and offered up his virgin daughters instead. The men declined his offer and replied, “You came as an alien and now want to play the Judge! We will treat you worse than them!” They moved forward to break down the door, but the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house, striking the men outside with blindness so they could not find their way. The angel said to Lot, “Get your family out of the city because the outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy this place”. After Lot and his family had retreated, the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah, destroying the entire plains, including all those living in the cities. Even though some believe that each person should have their own sexual preference, not everyone thinks that homosexuals should practice religion because homosexuality is immoral and the bible does not condone this behavior.
Not everyone thinks that homosexuals should practice religion. Different religions view homosexuality in many different aspects. Most religions view this sin in a negative way. Whatever the reasons different religious denominations have for thinking that homosexuals should not practice religion is a question that many wonder.
