Alice's Adventures in Wonderland: Summary

The main character of this book is a girl named Alice. She begins her journey to the Wonderland really unexpected for herself. She sits at the riverbank, bored, and all of the sudden she sees a rabbit, who is surprisingly capable of talking and owns a pocket watch. Being very curious, she follows him and falls down into a hole, and later find herself in a dark hallway. There, she sees many different doors and one small door, for which she finds a key on the table. However, she is not able to go through that door, which leads to a beautiful garden, because she is too tall. On the table, she finds a bottle that says “drink me” and drinks it and becomes very small. Then, she find a cake that says “eat me”, which she also eats and grows very tall. As Alice starts crying and makes a big pool of tears, a rabbit shows up again and tells her to get him a fan and a pair of gloves. By this time, she shrinks back and is able to go through the door. She finds the rabbit's house, the fan and the gloves, along with another magical bottle and cakes and goes through some more size changes. After she almost gets caught by a giant Puppy, she comes across a Caterpillar, that sits on a top of a mushroom. That mushroom helps her to regulate her size, by making her grow or shrink as she eats it from opposite sides. Still determined to find the garden she saw before, she keeps wandering around, but instead she finds a small house. In the house she witnesses a funny scene. There is a Cook making soup and at the same time throwing dishes across the room because he has put too much pepper the soup, there is a Duchess with a crying baby in her hands, and there is a Cheshire Cat that just glares at everything happening with a big smile on his face. In all that chaos, the Duchess throws the baby to Alice and as Alice walks outside, she realized that it's not a baby but a pig. Alice asks the Cheshire Cat for an advice of where she should go but...
