Should America Follow Arizona’s Lead?
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has taken a revolutionary and courageous position to curb the invasion of illegal aliens in the state by signing into law tough immigration reform. Arizona should be supported and commended by the Federal Government for this bold action and ought to follow suit and sanction immediate legislation alongside Arizona and tackle the dilemma of illegal immigration. Even though opponents of the law feel that amnesty would be a better solution and believe this sort of action will ultimately lead to violations of civil and human rights by perpetuating racial profiling and discrimination, it is a necessary action. The Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act Legislation is a necessary action because “illegal aliens” are criminals that impose upon the security, economic and educational systems of this nation.
