How Can I Show My Pride In Being An American
I can show my pride in being an American by standing for the principle which has made our country is what it is today. I can show my pride in being an american in many ways, for example I can practice patriotism, wear my nations colors and represent my nations great flag on labor day. There are many ways you can show pride in being an American to this great country founded on July 4, 1776. America has been through war filled with bloodshed to make this country a great and powerful nation. What reason don’t I have to take pride in this wonderful nation where it is the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Patriotism has been shown and used throughout history many times. For example from the 19th to early 20th century after Napoleon's defeat and downfall, French nationalism took on an assertive and extreme patriotism that supported military force to achieve its political goals. People put there lives on the line for their country everyday just to make sure it stays protected. I want to join the Air Force where I will be part of one of the five military branches. It would take true dedication and hard work to be apart of this prestige branch, to wear that uniform and have that seal on it shows i am proud to be an American and i take pride in it. Everytime i raise my hand to my head to salute the American flag shows i am not afraid to give recognition or respect to this country.
Talk about a fashion statement! Red, white, and blue are the colors i can wear to also show my pride in being an American. Walking around on the streets with my nations colors or flag on would definitely say something. It will catch the human eye and make them say wow that person must really love this country. Each color represents something different white signifies purity and innocence, red signifies hardiness and valor and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice. There is no better way to grab someones attention...
