The Riordan Manufacturing Company is a company that creates plastic bottles for all over the world. The Riordan Manufacturing Company is a successful company that has multiple locations all over the world. Riordan Manufacturing needs a system design for the HR department to improve their system requirements. The purpose of this plan is to create a system design with all requirements to improve the HR department technology and to enhance the HR department to be more efficient for the Riordan Manufacturing Company and all the locations that is included. The plan will consist of system requirements ideas to improve the systems within the HR department. This improves more efficiency within the company to improve systems and to make sure that all HR personnel will have access within the systems in all locations. The idea is to have better software for HR to maintain and add employees and to maintain records. Also need software that will manage all payrolls from each employee and to make sure that it would be properly maintained and managed. The system requirements are to make sure that each will run efficiently in all location of the Riordan Manufacturing Company is managed to have good software to have. The plan will have easy step by step requirements to make sure that it is implemented. Having good software would be easier to have to be more proficient within the HR department. By having a good ERP system will help within this project. To be considered an ERP system, a software package must provide the function of at least two systems (Wikipedia, 2009). For example, a software package that provides both payroll and accounting functions could technically be considered an ERP software package (Wikipedia, 2009). Implementing ERP software is typically too complex for "in-house" skill, so it is desirable and highly advised to hire outside consultants who are professionally trained to implement these systems (Wikipedia, 2009).
