* Anatomy and Physiology was able to teach me all the necessary elements of the human body that I will need to know to become a nurse. We covered all the systems of the body and the multiple functions that they perform. The systems and areas we covered are as follows: Human Body ,Chemistry Of Life, Cell Structure, Cellular Metabolism and Reproduction: Mitosis And Meiosis, Tissues ,Integumentary System ,Skeletal System, Articular System, Muscular System, Nervous System, Endocrine System, Blood, Cardiovascular System, Lymphatic System ,Nutrition And The Digestive System, Respiratory System ,Urinary System and Reproductive System.
* With the review, classroom assignments, weekly quizzes, and weekly tests, my knowledge of each of the above areas has made me the best prepared I can be for my upcoming career as a nurse. I am able to express knowledge in many different areas of the human body. The following are just a few of the many things this class has made me knowledgeable in: define the anatomic terms used to refer to the body in terms of directions and geometric planes, describe the major cavities of the body and the organs they contain, recognize terms related to the human body's anatomy, match anatomical terms with the appropriate physiology, illustrate the anatomical location of the components of a cell and explain their function, identify the major constituents in the blood and lymph systems and differentiate roles played by each, identify the anatomical structures in the multiple systems and relate them to the aspects of their specific function.
Overall, the material this class has presented has made me the most prepared I can be to continue to pursue my education and career as a nurse.
