Summer Book Analysis Script
In the book The Huger Games, The main character Katniss Everdeen, goes through many difficulties in the book including taking care of her family and having to participate in the hunger games. After Katniss lost her father in a coal mining accident she took over the role of the mother and father for her mother and little sister Prim. Her mom became depressed and would not do anything to help around their house. Katniss has to hunt, make meals, and do everything that her mother used to do.
When Katniss’s sister is chosen to represent district 12, Katniss volunteers herself to take her place in the games. Katniss and her new companion Peeta Melark are the tributes for their district. They had met each other once before when Peeta did her a favor and she hasent forgot since. Katniss and Peeta now have to go against every tribute in the arena to trying win and get back to their families. The tributes will be forced to fight in an arena against each other to fight to the death.
After the reaping Katniss and Peeta are sent off to the capitol where they will prepare for the games. At first Katniss goes out on her own, but after a while she finds that Peeta has teamed up with the others to make sure they don't find Katniss because they know she is strong and will try their hardest to kill her. After Katniss and Peeta eliminate most of the competition the annoncer comes back on and says that 2 people from the same district can win now. Katniss kills the other remaining tribute and thinks that Peeta and her have finally defeated the Hunger games but will this be it? Summer Book Analysis Script
