1. Psychologist
a professional with an academic degree and specialized training in one or more areas of psychology

2. Monism
A theory or doctrine that denies the existence of a distinction or duality in some sphere
the presumption that mind and body are different aspects of the same thing
3. Dualism
The division of something conceptually into two opposed or contrasted aspects, or the state of being so divided.
A view by Plato , the soul could exist separately from the body
4. Objective introspection
The process of examining and measuring one’s own thoughts and mental activities.
If someone gave you a rock and asked u to tell them everything that I was feeling as a result of having the rock in my hand.
5. Wilhelm Wundt
physiologist who attempted to apply scientific principles to the study of the human mind – studied the structure of the mind - Structuralism
Father of Psychology; established the first psychology lab in Leipzig, Germany
6. Structuralism
Early school of thought promoted by Wundt and Titchener; used in introspection to reveal the structure of the human mind
The study of structure or basic elements of the mind.
7. Edward Titchener
Brought structuralism to America; Structuralism School of thoughts
