The Army Values

LOYALTY
During my drill in september at the armory I violated the army values. As a result i have to pay the consequences and reprocussions. The first army value is loyalty. The deffiniition of loyalty is as follows" a strong feeling of support or allegiance". That weekend I failed to be loyal to my fellow soldiers.
Instead of giving my battle buddy the benefit of the doubt i made an assumption that cost me the trust and what respect I had from my company commander and my first sergeant. I have no stones to throw, I am no ones judge because i have made mistakes as well. Instead of being there for one of my brothers when adversity hit i stomped on him while he was down. If anything I should have reached out to him asked him how he was or if there was anything I could have done to help him out.
A loyal Soldier is one who supports the leadership and stands up for fellow soldiers not one who steals and tries to take advantage of an already messed up situation.A loyal soldier has discipline Loyalty is a very broad term that could be used in your family, locality or the country. A loyal per­son is ready to sacrifice his or her own life for the sake of his friend, relative or their country. Loyalty isnt something you can buy its rare and not often given to just anyone. It is hard to come across and very easy for someone to lose trust with you if your loyalty is questioned.
Loyalty means never having to question that person. It means never wo rrying about what side that person is on.Loyalty is priceless for a unit to be succesful the soldiers have to trust one another and without that it will not work.
Loyalty is a quality that is found mainly among the brave and the bold characters.Weak people are mostly found lacking the spirit of loyalty.They tend to jump from whomever shows most dominance.
