Suddenly , you come across the street and see a adverstiment for perfume , and it is so catchy , it hooks your one hundred percent attention . It even promises about satisfactory results for you . But whatever your purpose of buying this perfume is or who is the targeted audience and espcially does it work affectedly as it says ? That is the art of advertising .
To have a more specific picture of how advertising works , two adverstiments for perfume have been extracted and analyzed from two different magazines . Both of adversiment that I choose are targeted towards male . These were created by Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana which are popular and valuable brands . The price of Gucci is about $78 and $ 61 for Dolce & Gabbana , so they are probarly for the higher class of male .
The first advertisement is for the ‘Gucci Guilty’ has a target audience of man age 18 -30. They were designed for all the man who want to be sexually attractive to all the ladies , obviously intersted in delicate things such as , the new fragrance . This is show greatly successful by the two male and female model and a attractive black background . The image shown has sexy man was cuddled by a charming female . There is obivously “something” that make her really interested in him and her face’s expression with the eyes closed , mouth opened which show how irotic and passionate she is .Meanwhile , the man model reaction is expressionless which shown by his deep , alive eyes and cold face . His expressionless try to tell the readers that it is so obviously that woman will be into man who use the ‘ Gucci Guilty’ . In addition , the eyes of the male model has a really powerful hook to the readers ; they seem that they are trying to convience the customer...
