Upon completion of this piece of coursework, a student will be able to:
LO 1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the vocabulary terms in the field of PR.
LO 2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the fundamental theories of public relations and communication.
LO 6. Be able to recognize and discuss the development and current application of significant public relations principles associated with business areas including media, community, and internal and external public relations.
Content: 50%. Current sources; appropriateness of sources; topic limitation; analysis insightful and interesting; writing is clear, coherent and easy to understand.
Analysis: 40%. Concepts, problems, and theory developed well; topic well developed and explained; good variety of supporting materials are brought together in the development of ideas.
Format of paper: 10%. Appropriate for university papers; free of grammatical and spelling errors.
