Asian culture VS Western culture
As many people believe that Asian and Western are too different to compare with each other, when in reality they are very easy to compare with each. There are many distinct differences such as traditions, education, and behavior. Making the differences and likenesses very evident, therefore many people that have not been to these parts of the world have many misconception of these two very different cultures. Asian and Western culture are viewed very differently by people of different mindsets.
Asian culture is very different to Western culture because they have different mindsets. For example in Asian culture they emphasize a lot on education they believe that being top of their class in everything that they do, which is a very good value to instill upon the younger generation. An example of this is in Japan a typical high school student would have eight or nine classes a day. Some students not all but most go to night school so that they can graduate earlier and with good marks so that they can be accepted into the best university. Another reason is that they try very hard to incorporate their culture in their everyday lives making traditions in Asia very important. Asian culture is very big on traditions for example in South Korea every year they have several festivals to commemorate Korean history. The behaviors of the people of the Asian culture are very different from what people of the Western culture. For example people in the Asian culture tend to stick together they are very people oriented that’s why when westerners go to these places they get culture shocked because they are not used to the experience.
On the other hand Western culture views education as a privilege not something that the student must do, Western culture encourages people to build their education but does not require them to do so.
