Final Self Evaluation
1. Goals I have worked on:
I wanted to handle stress in a more constructive way so that I don’t have to take it out on my boyfriend I get frustrated or when he irritates me. Also, I wanted to be able to clearly speak in class without becoming overwhelmed with stress and showing my embarrassment by turning red in the face and stuttering. Another goal I worked on was that I wanted to be able to say no when someone asks me to help them with something even though they know that I am already really busy.
2. Goals I have accomplished:
I have started writing down my problems and things that frustrate me and therefore have fought less with my boyfriend and I haven’t been getting angry as often. This goal still needs A LOT of work, but I have been working towards it and have accomplished some improvement. Also, I have been working on my goal to be able to speak in front of a group of people. I have thought about my irrational thoughts and I have come to realize that it only matters what I think about myself and that there is no need for me to be nervous about what others will think if I speak my mind. I have stopped stuttering and rarely turn red anymore. This goal has been accomplished, but I need to keep practicing in order to get even better. Finally, I was able to tell my friend no when she asked me to come over and help her baby-sit even after I told her I had a lot of homework to do that night. This shows that I have accomplished my goal of being able to tell my friend no. I am able to know that I have the right to say no and to put myself first.
3. Goals that still need work:
I believe that I need to practice more on managing my stress in constructive ways such as writing things done. If I keep practicing then I will get better at it and be happier when I talk to my boyfriend.
4. I plan to work on them by:
I plan to keep on doing what I am doing in order to further accomplish this goal. I also am...
