This is my second quarter in De Anza College and I have had one project in here. I want to earn some money for my living in the USA so I decided to become a tutor. This idea came to me since I took orientation class, the instructor said that international student could register to be a tutor then I tried for it and I was accepted. Now, I am a tutor in MPS program, this program help students who have difficulty in math can get over it easier, since they could have more assist from the instructor and tutor to solve the problem right in the class, I come to class to help the instructor with answering other students’ question. I think this is really a good part time job as I can revise my math technique and could help other student to improve their math. I am still getting along with student pretty well, they are not really fast with math but they all try their best. Sometimes I even confuse myself and get lost while I am trying to explain a problem but then I start it over and everything is just fine. I am quite happy with this job when I can get involve to make new friend. I know more students k as I have chance to talk with them while I am tutoring them, the more friends I have the better I feel, I feel relax when I can talk to somebody to release tress. Furthermore, I earn some money and it really helpful, I am able to buy new clothes since all of my clothes is not warm enough, because I came from tropical country so the clothes is not thick enough to keep warm, without asking my parent for money. I really love this job so far.
