It is inevitable in the business world people will have to work with other people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. They will have different beliefs, ideas, attitudes, values, and ways of doing tasks. Diversity is something people will not be able to get away from in society. In this essay a situation where a person has to present quarterly sales information at a meeting will be addressed. The groups of people who make up the audience include: stakeholders, managers, salespeople and customers. The essay will focus on the communication approach towards the audience as well as the characteristics of the audience, and it will explain the course of appropriate communication for this situation. Diversity of the audience is of high importance and so the essay will provide some strong ideas to keep in mind on how to communicate effectively with different groups of people. To conclude I will speak of ways to guarantee messages are getting across when communicating with a specific audience.
