Similarities and Differences Between Four Babies
In the documentary
Babies, they showed many similarities and differences between four
babies that live in different part of the world (Namibia, Mongolia, Japan, and America) and that
have different cultures. These babies were all being brought up in different ways according to
their cultures, but they have some educational similarities in each of their cultures too (learning
to crawl, walk, talk, and many more). Another thing I saw the babies have similarities in was the
areas they lived (rural and urban areas). The Japanese and American babies live in urban areas;
whereas the Mongolian and Namibian babies live in rural areas. The thing that interest me the
most is how many similarities and differences each babies have in common in their lifestyles and
cultures.

lifestyles? Ponijao (the Namibian baby) I thought of him as a mellow baby, Bayar (the
Mongolian baby) as the nosy, Mari (the Japanese baby) as the spoiled rotten baby, and Hattie
(the American baby) as the one that need all of your attention. Right off in the documentary I
notice that the babies have different types of behaviors. Ponijao had lots of group activities in his
surrounding; in which he share everything with family and friends. I saw Bayar as a loner, he
