Bank Customer ATM WithdrawL Use Case
Bank ATMs are standard from my own experience, and for a customer to be able to withdraw money from them must follow a standard series of steps from beginning to end for the transaction to be successful.
Now depending on what bank ATM’s the transaction take place, the steps may varied in sequence or even language, but the end result will be currency withdraw.
A typical bank ATM withdrawL take place as follow:
1. Authentication
a) The bank customer inserts or swipe the bank issue smart card into the ATM
b) The ATM read the magnetic stripe of the card to verify that the card is a valid bank card
c) The customer is ask to enter the card pin number
d) The ATM compares the pin with the one coded on the card
2. Transaction
a) From a list of transaction the customer is allow to choose withdraw
b) The customer also need to specified the type of account (e.g. checking)
c) The customer specified a withdraw amount
d) The ATM forwards all the customer provided information to the bank for approval
e) The bank approves
f) The ATM dispenses the customers cash
g) The receipt is printed and the card return to customer if applicable
A typical ATM WITHDRAWl attempt can also have different courses as follow:
1. During authentication
a) The bank customer inserts or swipe the bank issue smart card into the ATM
b) The ATM read the magnetic stripe of the card to verify that the card is a valid bank card (if the card is not readable or is not a bank card the transaction is cancel and if applicable the car is ejected)
c) The customer is ask to enter the card pin number
d) The ATM compares the pin with the one coded on the card (if the pin is wrong the ATM request the pin for a specified number of times and if the pin is wrong for over...
