Kevin Bryan Basic Writing September 19 Dear Dr. J, Since education is first in my life I decided I wanted to go to college and take my education a step further. I applied to Penn State University and West Chester in the early fall and was accepted by West Chester very early and was still waiting on my Penn State decision. I was denied to go to Penn State about a month later after I heard from West Chester and decided to go with my plan B which was West Chester. I chose to go to West Chester because I wanted to get away from my old life and start a new one on my own. I do have a girlfriend back at home named Meaghen who I have been with for almost two years now and that is my only regret of leaving. So far I have had no complaints and I am loving everything about it. It has all been so much fun but I got to remember why I am here and that is to get the best education I possibly can. After college I would like to be someone. Maybe something that has to do with athletics or maybe something different like going into the medical field like my mother. Idon’t want to be a bum who couldn’t make it out of college or drop out because of pure lazyness. I want to be apart of the West Chester University Alumni so I can say that I made it. That’s where I want to be in my next 4-6 years. This is the test my parents put me up to because I have screwed up time and time again but I want to prove to them, “That I aint no bum on the streets.” That is my life goal.
