Be Satisfied, Be a Saticficer

In our world today we are presented with multiple choices, different styles, colors, shapes, textures, healthy, name brand, generic brand; the choices are endless! How does one decide? I recently went shopping for a new bed, a mattress, box springs, and a new bed frame. I’d owned the same bed my parents got for me in fourth grade. I finally had enough money saved to get a nice bed that would last me many years, so I went to Des Moines to begin shopping. I first went to Lebeda; I did not stay long, not because they didn’t have plenty of choices but because I wasn’t happy with their customer service. I then walked next door to Midwest mattress, I was happy with the service at Midwest mattress so I started to look around. I wanted a flippable pillow top mattress, easy enough. After talking to the salesman I noticed finding a new bed wasn’t going to be as simple as I thought. He began asking me questions. Do you want memory foam? How many coil count are you looking for? Would you like stain proof material? The questions continued. Instead of telling him what I wanted, it was just easier for me to try them out myself. I knew exactly what I wanted and I was bound and determined I would find it among all the choices. I began trying the beds; the fourth bed I laid on was the bed I decided to buy. The bed named the Jewel was their best seller and happened to be in my price range and met what I was looking for. So I ended my search there. I bought the bed with no further questions. Having choices is important due to the fact there are so many people with different preferences; however, the abundance of one product with thirty or more look alikes is a bit much and unnecessary. I prefer to live my life as a saticficer, I don’t want to be unhappy and overwhelmed with all the choices; if an item meets my standards it is the “best” buy for me.
