Being Aware of the Consequences of Crime

December 7, 2008 Consequences of Crime When people commit a crime do they really think of the consequences that could follow? I would have to say no to this question, because if they did think about the consequences then our prisons wouldn’t be so over crowed. A lot of lives can change when people commit the most sense less crimes. Starting with the victim, but set aside all the things that change in the victims lives. What about everything that changes in the accused lives. I know speaking for myself there is no way I could get used to this life style, that is not how I would want to life my live, it would make me feel like I was just a big waste of space in this world. One thing I know for certain the consequence of a conviction is the mental strain that it would put on a person and the depression that could and most likely would follow. Just like I said before, being away from family and friends, new life style, a lot of rules that you never had before. Everything is different in prison and nothing is the same as it was before...
