This I believe….

“ Id rather be hated for what I am than loved for what im not,” that is a quote that I found on the internet last night and I truly believe in that. Its true because if your not being yourself around your friends or you put on this image, you can never be truly happy because you wont be being yourself. People who except you for who you are are the ones that are worth being friends with because they are allowing you to be yourself, and in the end are the ones who will stick with you until the end.
This once happened when I met a girl. I met this girl while I was at the fountains by the mall in Roseville. And I asked her if she wanted to hang out with us and she did, and it was funny because I didn’t even know her. At the end of the night I asked her for her number and asked if she wanted to go out to dinner the next night, and she said yes. When we hung out the next day it was weird and awkward because I couldn’t even be myself, and I was trying to put on this “image,”, because she was ridiculously cute.
So at the end of the night I dropped her off at her house and I was completey relieved to be done with this girl, and I came to the conclusion about two things, one don’t ask girls you don’t know to go to dinner because it’ll end up being weird and two, you wont be able to be yourself.
So this I believe is that if you be yourself than it will enable you to see who your true friends are and who are going to stick with you through the tough times. I believe that it is above all, most important to be true to yourself and then you can be truly happy.
