The environment of a general education in a traditional brick and mortar setting has many benefits. A traditional public education originally called brick and mortar is best suited for learning and the benefits include a positive relationship with their teacher, exposure to different cultures, convenience and how financially feasible it is for everyone. Learning how to be with other students and how to treat them for instance in middle school, most people learn what kind of personality they have and, in high school, their individual interests and social life evolve.
Students who have a positive relationship with their teacher tend to put forth more effort in class and as a result improve their academic achievement. Children with conflicted teacher-student relationships feel stress, which interferes with learning. For teachers to create positive relationships and environments for their students, they must be emotionally stable themselves. Furthermore, you need a student that is willing to learn and a good teacher.
Students who attended public school seem to adjust in society better because, students are exposed to more people from differing social-economic backgrounds. This teaches a student how to get along with one another regardless of differences, and can provide a more complete educational experience.
Convenience is a factor in public school for example proximity to home, most students live near their public school and have the option of walking to school. Walking to school has many benefits it maintains and builds healthy bones, muscles and joints. It also helps control weight; builds lean muscle and reduces fat. Walking can improve self image and foster healthy social and emotion development.
