Brandon took the same way to school every day and never saw anything different, going to school that way every day of the school year he began to notice how nothing ever changed and when something did change he would easily notice. In the neighborhood he lived in everything was always so slow and gloomy, no one ever played in the street anymore or even rode their bike around except for Brandon. As Brandon had started to grow up in the neighborhood he started to realize when he would walk to school that where he lived wasn’t exactly normal. When I say this I mean that everyone there was nice to each other and always associated with each other when they saw them out but he notice that there was always one person in someone family that was neglected by everyone. Brandon never talked to anyone about this because he always thought that everyone else saw exactly what he did. Brandon wasn’t the type of person to want to be friends with everyone he had a selected few people that he would talk to and only one friend that he actually cared for and his name was Michael. Michael seemed to be one of the only people that could actually talk to Brandon and they told each other just about everything.
Brandon’s parents were the average parents and very active in the neighborhood meets. But one off thing about them was how secretive they were. Whenever these meetings would come up and something related the neighborhood was brought to attention by Brandon his parent would automatically go into defense mode and avoid or bring up a new topic. The more they did this the more suspicious Brandon would get but he acted like he didn’t care about it. So Brandon came up with the plan that he was going to attend one of these meetings on the next one. When he told Michael about his plan instead of telling him to not do it and just don’t worry about it, Michael encouraged him to go and bust his parent at whatever they were doing at these meetings.
