Introduction
Dave Earley is currently the Lead Pastor of Grace City Church, a multi-site ministry in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the visionary, he has led Grace City to be a bible-centered ministry based on worship-based prayer, living lifestyles of evangelism, and intentional disciple-making. Prior to this, Earley served as the Chairman of the Department of Pastoral Leadership and Director of the Center for Pastoral Leadership at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, he was also the Director of both the Lovett Center for Ministry Training as well as the Liberty University Center for Church Planting. Prior to his tenure at Liberty University, Earley founded the New Life Church of Gahanna-Columbus, Ohio in his basement with twelve people in 1985. This ministry grew to nearly 2,000 weekly attendees with 125 small groups.
Earley is also the author of several books including The 21 Most Effective Prayers of the Bible, The Eight Habits of Effective Small Group Leaders, Disciple Making Is…How to Live the Great Commission with Passion and Confidence, and Living in His Presence: The Immanuel Factor. He writes this work, Prayer: The Timeless Secret of High-Impact Leaders, in an effort to reveal to the reader the common denominator of all great spiritual leaders throughout the ages. Tracing the lives of seventy seven spiritual leaders from Abraham to Billy Graham, along with a host of quotes and anecdotes, Earley puts forth a plethora of practical applications of prayer that will inspire, transform, and strengthen the prayer life of the spiritual leader.
