Jonathan Kennington Hasty English 1100 November 5, 2008 The will of God is a major theme that runs throughout the movie. The brothers believe God has chosen them to set out on a mission. Their mission is to fulfill God’s destiny by ridding the world of evil and corruption by killing anyone who crosses the bounds into true corruption, and by failing to abide by the codes of behavior. Those codes of behavior are “do not kill, do not rape, and do not steal.” The brothers believe that if they kill these evil people then they will have no chance to ever commit evil crimes again.
