Introduction
This chapter contains the background of the study, the statement of the problem, the hypothesis, significance of the study and its scope and limitation.
Background of the study
Nowadays , many people , it may be a male or a female , in any age, do suffer from eye defects and eye problem. These problems may be caused by natural phenomenon such a too much heat and radiation from the sun. This radiation affects the vision of an individual that the effect varies on how long does this individual is expose from it. Second is that it may be cause by frequently use of eyes in such a way that it was being abused and not being cared of. Third can be other reasons such as accidents. These problems can be classified as myopia which is near sighted and hyperopia which is far sighted.
Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a condition where in the ability of the eyes to see objects within close range are seen clearly compared to the objects with a great distance become visibly blurred. It occurs when the eyeball is too long or the cornea, has too much curvature. As a result, the light entering the eye could not focus correctly and distant objects look blurred.
While Hyperopia, Farsightedness, is a condition, where in the ability of the eye to see distant objects are usually seen clearly, but if the object is within close range, it tends to blur or it does not come into proper focus. Farsightedness occurs when the eyeball is too short or the cornea ha too little curvature, so light entering your eye is not focused correctly
This condition of an individual’s vision can affects their own life. Through their daily routines like when they have poor eyesight , It can mislead you into something or give you wrong interpretation of what is written on something. It can also cause accidents when an...
