The “Habit 6” and “Habit 7” sections from Stephen R. Covey’s The 7 habits of Highly Effective People were very informative and interesting. “Habit 7: Synergize” was about communicating and working well with others to achieve higher goals. Covey said “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” Synergy focuses on win/win relationships, at my internship I now focus more on collaborative problem solving skills. This habit has led me to realize how important it is to attain synergistic relationships. In my future I will now focus on attaining synergistic relationships with others through effective communication and collaboration. Focusing on creating these relationships will guarantee win/win relationships and higher levels of output (happiness, money, ect). Constantly creating synergistic relationships will also add great value to my future career. This will add great value by creating better relationships which will yield greater productivity.
