Abstract
Building connections with people from around the world is just one dimension of cultural diversity (Mind tools, 2012). In a world in which cross-cultural joint ventures and alliances are essential, problems of ethics and trust will loom large (Burman, 2010). The nature of the environment determines the framework within which the organizations will conduct their activities. Whether profit or non-profit oriented, organizations do business in a certain environment. The organizational environment s composed of a set of all the entities and phenomena that are outside the boundaries of the organizational system and whose impact is relevant for their operation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze a fictional case of an American expatriate manager by the name of Ms. Myers working in a South Korean firm. One will emphasize and analyze the differences in cultures and environment affect institutions along with Ms. Myers management approach.





















Introduction
According to Hofstede's cultural dimensions, Cultural norms play a large part in the mechanics and interpersonal relationships of the workplace (Mind Tools, 2012). It also refers to meaning that people attach to their behaviors. Culture consists of values, vision, norms and beliefs. It also refers to working language and habits.  Organizational Culture includes assumptions and behaviors taught to new employees in the organization.  Cultural values, assumptions and beliefs affect organizational performance and management.  The organizational culture affects employee and managers behaviors.
