The Surface Planer Jointer, commonly know as the Buzzer, is used in the dressing down of all kinds of timber in the wood machining industry. The machine is used by the home owner, small tradesman and professional craftsman. Planing is the most important basic operation connected with cabinetwork. It is almost impossible to correct faulty preparation during following operations. The planer is an almost indispensable machine when it comes to constructing timber products.

The surface planer jointer or "buzzer" is a machine especially designed for high planing of surface and edges. The speed and accuracy of the jointer smoothes wood surfaces, removes warps and square edges for jointing to make it a most useful acquisition to any workshop. Other operations such as planing chamfers, bevels, rebates and tapers can be carried on most jointers without additional jigs or accessories.
