“Good afternoon. I am very pleased to meet you. My name is Donna Brown and I am the director of nursing for this Medical Specialties Unit. I would absolutely love for you to come work with us here at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Even if it is not here on my unit, we want you here at our hospital.” This is a quote from the nursing director at one of my job interviews as a new graduate nurse. This was the third interview I had in two weeks and I remember bracing myself, prior to this interview, for torture and interrogation as the first two interviews had been.
