Campbell, Chris, Capital punishment: not very Christian. Is a Blog writer, who expresses his thoughts on capital punishment, it seems like he wants to be against capital punishment; but as you read his blog it seems he is unsure of his feelings and seems to be seeking others opinion to make a decision.

New Jersey became the first state in decades to repeal the death penalty. Although this article is a very important part of my life, because I am from New Jersey; I did not think it was well written. Something as big as a state passing this law deserves a more elaborate article with more details.

Meyer, Robert, Capital punishment is still pro-life; this article was a strong in my opinion. Mr. Meyer seem to be very judgmental against what he calls secularists people, I don’t think he understands completely that to kill is a sin no matter who does it and for what reasons.
Howard, Kevin L Christians and Capital Punishment; Is a wonderful well written article about a man sitting on death row for a crime he committed. Mr. Campbell did a great job backing up his thought with biblical scriptures, and did not come out as being judgmental, and although I am against the death penalty; I can see his point and I understand his view on this topic.


Many different Christians have different points of view on Capital Punishment. On the 17th December 1990 there was a debate on Capital Punishment in the House of Commons, first a MP called John Greenway wanted to bring back the death penalty, and in his speech he brought in statistics these are the ones he used. 25 years before the death penalty was abolished 22 police were murdered; in 1965 capital punishment was abolished in the UK. 25 years...
