For a second, imagine a world where nobody challenged authority. African American people would still be forced to work brutal and low pay jobs and horrible discrimination; counties around the world would have never had the courage to stand up to Hitler and his military’s reign of terror upon innocent people by the millions. Imagine. But the difference between the past and present is in that gap of time; humanity did in fact challenge the authority of many for reasons of beliefs in human rights, the welfare and equality of lives, and how it put forth change in humanity for not only a community but the world we live in today.
When one should eloquent beliefs to authority, it is acceptable to voice ones opinion when it affects ones human rights to anything as it says here in the Universal Deceleration of Human Rights; “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.” With that said, thus one may challenge authority or anyone in a place of power for that matter, if anyone of those distinctions is violated. With following the first point; the welfare of a person is immensely important for questioning one whom may be in power for the rate of equality for others because in the past, we have dealt with slavery and labor of people and that led up to putting in a law of it being banned, and being a part of the Universal Deceleration of Human Rights, there for proving that challenging authority can be a good thing, and can promote change. But keep in mind change might not always be a good thing, to others; their cons list maybe holding more opinions then their pros list for change, but by promoting change can lead to a positive way in challenging authority, many do not enjoy coming out of their comfort zone thus everyone having an opinion of change, even people...
