Introduction: Intersect Investments
In this paper I will be discussing different changes that Intersect Investment is facing. Intersect Investment Company, a financial services industry, has been feeling the affects since the casualties of September 11, 2001. Intersect Investment has lost a lot of their clients trust and have since been trying to change their overall vision in order to turnaround the company. In today’s business world there is stiff competition for all business entities. In order for Intersect Investment to stay in competition with their competitors to stand out among the rest, they needed to make some significant changes within the company. Intersect investment needed to change first their strategy of business and come up with a more suitable vision for the company. Second, Intersect Investment needed to expand their products to be more competitive. Third, the management at Intersect needed to change the style of leadership they used in order to motivate employees to achieve the end state goals. Last, Intersect Investment needed to focus the majority of their efforts on customer satisfaction.
In order for Intersect Investment to make these significant changes they first needed to focus on the solution to their problems. The CEO decided that the vision of the company needed to change to meet the needs of the market. The new vision identified by the CEO was, “Provide a broad set of products and services to consumer and small business customers using a model of customer intimacy that will build long-term relationships based on trust and value to the customer” (Intersect Scenario).
