Claim Your Topic
The topic that I chose for my informative and persuasive speeches is “Texting and Driving.”
The way I would approach the topic from the informative point is by giving them the information on texting and driving and why it should be avoided. I would than give them some examples on some of the story’s I found in the process of my research. I would than give them so sources where the can find the information for themselves if needed. I would also ask some questions on like what you would do in this situation if it was you are a close family member. I would be very informantial about the process so they leave out knowing everything about why you should not text and drive.
As far as the persuasive way I would find some major points in why it is a major issue if you decide to text and drive. I would inform them of the penalties you can receive if caught. Let some stories out about past issues that happen and is not here today to talk about it. I would persuade them that if this is done how you can become a murder or even a victim if rules are not followed. I would basically be giving them the same information that I gave in my previous essay but in a different format. This format would not even let them think about it twice it would be there priority not to text and drive.
