When I was enrolling for WRA class I couldn’t decide which one to choose among 8 different topics of WRA course. At first, my thought of WRA class was, “oh it’s just another stupid university requirement class.” However, among those different topics, the two words got me interested, Science & Technology. From the first day of this class, the word globalization was introduced and over again until the end of the last project. Previously to me, globalization meant simply, international and had no special meaning or significance. However, I slowly adapted how and why globalization was chosen for science & technology. Also, I realized how important it was, it impacts every single object and either they are living organism or not. So far from this class I learned and became a stronger writer about things that interest me. This class was somehow different from my previous writing classes; it had more freedom and enjoyment. Also, I couldn’t believe how diversely everything is connected in rhetorical ways. Before I wasn’t so sure what rhetorical was and what was meaning of it. Now, I understand and learned rhetorical can be everything we observe to see. Such as, words, images, body language, objects and many more. It made me go beyond the writing and what I would normally think of. My first thought of this class was I will be learning science &technology, however, I really never learned anything about science or technology from this class. Therefore, let say if I would have to take this class again, I would like to learn or write about today’s science or technology. Although, right now I would like to learn more about my major, applied engineering. I am glad that I took this class, I really learned a lot, even though I really hate writing papers I think it was one of my favorite classes of ___ so far.
