When I joined American Intercontinental University I was struggling going back to school with being in the military, having a job, and trying to spend enough time with my spouse. When choosing to go back to school it was a decision that I felt would better my career while helping my family our. It would help my career by opening up more possibilities and get me a promotion in the military. My paper will be telling you how I figured out to balance my schoolwork with every thing going on with my drill time for the National Guard, with my job, trying to support my spouse and family.
In the Kansas National Guard I am a experience motor transport operator. While I am attending school I will be balancing my two through four-day drill weekends and my two weeks a year. When I am doing my two to four day drills I am going to be home so I will be able to balance my schoolwork. When I am doing my two weeks drill I could be on the road transporting things in military training sites. These two weeks could cause problems but I will be talking to my course instructor when that time comes. While I am on my two to four day drills there is Internet access so I could do my work at drill when we have down time. I will attain this goal by doing my work ahead of schedule when needed while at drill I would accomplish my goal by taking my laptop to use the Wi-Fi to be able to keep working on my assignment. When I balance my class while being an soldier I would better my life by being more focused and guided to complete my goals more quickly and accurately.
