Re: Project control
The two-day training sessions for MABSTOA organization intranet is ready to go into the execution stage. To realize project plan success, analysis and evaluation is essential. The project must be evaluated to ensure that the project team adheres to the objectives of the plan. Analysis of all possible unplanned charges to the project cost, scheduling, and budgeting is vital to prepare for what could go wrong.
From the project planning to implementation, there will be an on-going evaluation to serve as a defense and early detection method, in addition to keep the project running as planned. A Change control sheet must be submitted to the project manager to request changes and is subject to approval.
Project plan procedures for handling change control issues
To make changes work, these elements that need to be in place
* Scope that has been agreed to and signed-off on, which clearly defines deliverables and constraints
* A proven and agreed to change process that will allow change request (change control form) and provide:
* Complete description of the change
* What is driving the change
* Impact on schedule, cost and quality (final deliverables)
* Who raised the change request
* Who approved it
* When it will happen
* Who will action it
* If change is denied, then a sign-off to that intent
