Abstract
The Department of Fairies and Wizards is a newly created branch of local government. As such the department needs to establish a code of ethics to be adhered to by all members elected, appointed, and hired. The code of ethics is designed to ensure that all decision are made fairly, money is spent with the tax payers best interest in mind and that our leaders behave in ways representative of their station.
Code of Ethics for the Department of Fairies and Wizards
The Department of Fairies and Wizards is responsible for ensuring that all citizens with any type of magical powers use them in a safe and productive way. All citizens with powers are required to catalog their powers with the Department. The Department then works to ensure that designated safe zones are in place for the use of specific power types, that these citizens do not fly in no fly zones, and that items that are created where non existed previously are taxed appropriately. Goals of the Code of Ethics
To ensure all magical citizens are treated with respect and dignity and make our community a more beautiful place to live.

Scope. All members of the Department of Fairies and Wizards will adhere to the code in all decisions they make and situations in which they represent themselves and the Department.
