1. Communication climates are a foundation of our interaction with others. It is the emotional tones of a relationship between people. Same as the weather climate, communication climates affects how people feel and interact with one another. Conflict and communication have a tight relation. Conflict exists when people who depend on each other have different point of view, interest, values, responsibilities, or objectives and they perceived their differences as incompatible. Conflict sometimes appears also because of communication. People who are engaging in conflict also should use communication as the best way to overcome their conflict. Therefore, there are a correlation between conflict and communication.
2. Communication is linked with culture. Our culture directly shapes how we communicate with people. Otherwise, we also learn culture’s perspective and rules during the process of communication. By observing and interacting with others, we learn languages and what does it means. We learn cultural values in the process of communicating with others. To adapt communication to cultural diverse and social communities, we have to engage in person-centered communication which enables us to adapt to the perspectives and communication styles of others. We have to respect what others present as their feelings and ideas, and also resist ethnocentrism as the greatest threat of communication.
3. Communication in social group tends to be relaxed, informal and more focused on the interpersonal than on a task. In groups, communication aims to help members clarify an address issues in their lives. Otherwise, communication in organizations is more like structural. It is occurs in networks which are formal links between members of organizations. In organizations they have their own culture, including vocabularies, stories, rites and rituals, and also structures....
