Compare and Contrast: VW Cabrio to VW Touareg
At this stage of my life I find myself with a decent car, that has some issues. Usually those are the type that teenagers tend to have, and most would like something better. Currently I own a VW Cabrio, and I would really like to see myself driving a newer VW Touareg. Both are from the same company, however they are completely different types of cars.
The Cabrio is an older, and now discontinued model that is a small, two-door convertible. The Touareg however is a much larger small SUV type vehicle. With cars size is an important factor, and I find my Cabrio to be especially tiny. Another major difference between the two would be the space inside. The Cabrio has limited space being a two door, and the car is very low to the ground, making it very different to drive than something a bit larger. The touareg gives the driver the added comfort of being easier to get in and out of, a larger inside compartment, and a much more expanded view from the inside.
Features of both cars are also quite different, both due to age, and to size qualities. Features based on age are purely the evolution and technological advancement of the ones that the Cabrio model has, with a few additions that weren’t available at that time.
The Cabrio is still equipped with a basic sound system that has a tape player, whereas the Touareg would have a full Bose audio system with touchscreen control, CD changer, and auxiliary ports for modern things like cell phones and iPods to be connected. Also the Touareg would be equipped with a full touchscreen navigation system, and when my Cabrio was built they didn’t even know what that was, never mind that at some point it would come standard with cars.
Similar features between the two models would obviously be all things that a car normally has, like wheels, seats, engine, steering wheel, etc., but there are some other things that Volkswagen also includes. Both models have heated seats,...
