The task of compiling the best sales team takes a great deal of thought. InterClean is a company that is taking on a new direction in the cleaning business. InterClean is going from selling cleaning supplies to also providing full service cleaning solutions for organizations in the health industry. The structure of this new team will be broken into various components. The components will include job description, training programs, evaluating methods including an appraisal form, incentives and benefits packages, strategies for managing employee’s career development and a compensation plan. There are other aspects included in this proposal that will my recommendations and justifications for the following listed above.
The first component is the job description for the positions. The job description includes what the job entails. The candidates will have a complete understanding of what they are expected to do after reading the job description. This also includes the qualifications required for the new positions including the first level management position.
Title: First-Level Sales Manager
Description: Managing five sales representatives. Give performance appraisals. Selling InterClean full service cleaning solutions if needed to do so. Keeping Spreadsheets of all five sales representatives sales and customers that sales representatives get to purchase cleaning solutions. Giving quarterly reports of sales to upper management. Maintaing records of attendance including sick time and vacations. Also maintain records of weekly sales, commission and salaries of sales representatives.
Requirements: The manager must be able to work in a diverse environment. Must have great listening, interpersonal and communicating skills. Know how to give feedback in a professional manner as well as alternatives to help where improvement is needed.
