In today’s society almost every family owns at least one personal computer (PC) in their household. Those personal computers has grown greatly; improved into many distinct forms such as portable computers like laptops, cellphones, and tablets. As years passed by, PCs changed our society; making people aware of things around them.
Working with my computer makes all things easier and possible for me; learning things that my mere brain can’t fathom before and seeing things in a different perspective with the help of the internet. As a teenager, PC is one of the things that I need in order to do all my task in school specifically home works but there are more fun things that I can do with my PC like editing videos, playing games like gang beasts and NBA 2k14, watching videos in YouTube, researching things that I am curious about, listening music especially when I am heavyhearted, communicating with people, remixing and doing mash-ups in VirtualDj 8, editing pictures in Photoshop CS6 and downloading movies and series. In short, my PC helped me to widen my knowledge in different aspects.
Without personal computers, we will do things manually that can eat too much time and for me PCs are very helpful to us, it will only have conditions when people don’t use it in a wiser way, and according to Bill Gates, “I think it’s fair to say that personal computers have become the most empowering tool we’ve ever created. They are tools for communication, they tools for creativity, and they can be shaped by their users”.
