INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background of the Study
Nowadays, technology plays a vital role in our society, and as technology continues to advance, the progress of an institution is largely determined by the ability to make use of computer technology. Schools, like any other institution, used to manage all sorts of data and information to ensure attainment of its goals and objectives.
Enrollment process is always the toughest time that an institution may face throughout the year. As the population of the students continues to grow, school personnel find it hard to deal with the enrollment procedure. One of the solutions in this problem is to make their manual enrollment into a computerized system. The idea behind a computerized enrollment system is not a new concept since the process nowadays requires the use of technology. The emerging need of schools for accurate and relevant data and reliable information strengthen the need for Computerized Enrollment System. Through this, productivity can be increased in the shortest period of time and less effort will be exerted. The conversion of manual to automated system is one best alternative to carry out manual workloads such as keeping records, computations, and retrieving information. Computerized enrollment systems tend to do what we call a paperless transaction to make enrollment easier and faster.
Company Background
In June 2003, Our Lady of Guadalupe Learning Academy of Marilao, Inc. started its operation of Pre-Elementary. It was recognized by the Government last March 10, 2005. Thirteen months later, OLGA recognized its Elementary course from Grade I-IV. The said school was incorporated by the Espiritu Family headed by Dr. Melanie F. Espiritu. It was located at Hulo Corner Clemente Concepcion St., Lorma de Gato, Bulacan Annex: Likod Bisita, Loma de Gato, Marilao, Bulacan.
