I emailed Dave Martinez our graphic designer to setup a meeting regarding the food court concept. He and I met several days later which gave me time to write up the project plan. I had explained to Dave the concept would need to incorporate several key features for the concept design to be functional and fun for employees. I proceeded to show him my project plan that Charlotte would review after my manager approved the write up. Dave and I met for about an hour on the concept. He had just finished a large project and had some time to put something together for me. About a week passed and I received several concept drawings including a computerized view of the food court. I was very impressed with the details he had designed. This would give a better vantage point when speaking with food franchise owners. After my manager had reviewed and signed off on my project plan it was time to set up a meeting with Charlotte.
I scheduled a two hour meeting several days later with Charlotte, Dave, Stacie Mathews in IT, and my manager. Charlotte seemed pleased with the approach of increased productivity. She was also very impressed with tenant message board. This could be used by all tenants as free advertisement for recruitment for jobs and the release of DigiFast video games. Charlotte seemed concerned about the build project hours it would take for Stacie to complete the employee menu and food payroll deduct system. Stacie went on to explain that a small micro transaction fee would be imposed for building tenants and food merchants that would allow us to recoup a profit for the build hours and application maintenance. Stacie was confident since she had experience with development and implementation on ecommerce systems before working at DigiFast. We wanted to be aggressive with the completion of the project by the end of December.
