Stress is a disease, that affects all of us living in a modern world. I bet everyone here had suffered from stress in .. and a stress factors are all around us. I would like to take my chance and try to describe what can cause stress and how we should beat it.
In my opinion, teenagres are affected by stress the most, as they are dealing with it almost every day in school. Exams, speeches, quizes, even going to school itself can drive us crazy. Minor problems feel like a matter of life and death. I really think, that we should all understand that bad grades just happens to everyone and it’s a normal thing. Also living up to so many expectations can be really hard and stressful. Outside school we are also exposed to many stress factors. We want to be liked and understood by others, (… ) However, controlled stress can also stimulate us to do certain task better, motivate us.
There are many ways to alleviate the stress. Everyone has it’s own method, that is working (the best) and in my opinion there is no point in telling that this or that way is the best. Nevertheless I would like to mention few methods that works just fine for me. I really like to turn the music all the way up and just jump all over the room, it really helps me. Another way to deal with stress is to go alone on a long stroll, or hang out with friends. You can also go to the cinema or theatre and entertain yourself. Some people like to eat chocolate or drink a cup of coffee. For sure, you cannot beat your stress with drugs and alcohol, as it can only lead to more dangerous diseases, and I can assure you, you will regret it.
To sum up, stressful lifestyle is normal nowadays, but we cannot let it control our life. The most important is to find a way to cope with it and just not to care about certain, minor things so much.
