Apple Computers was established on April 1, 1976 by two college friends both with the first name Steve, Steve Jobs and Wozniak alongside Ronald Wayne who sold his shares for $800 after three months of the initial setup due to conflict with Steve Jobs. The company was name Apple partially because Jobs liked apples a lot and mainly he wanted it to be the first name in the phone book of the competition Atari where he once worked at and who was the leading company to out beat in the technology industry. This might seems crazy to some people but he was very serious about trying to one up the competition in any shape or form. Their first development of computers was assembled in the garage of Job’s mother house as the start up location for the creation of the Apple I. Apple I was an assembled circuit board that required basic accessory such as a keyboard, monitor, and case. The product was name Apple partially because Jobs liked apples a lot and mainly he wanted it to be the first name in the phone book of the competition Atari who was the leading company to out beat in the technology industry. This was just the beginning for the two Steves who improved the development of their first product that paved the way to the upcoming Apple II almost a year later. Unfortunately, Wozniak departed from the company in 1983 due to lack of interest in the day to day operation. Apple Computers on January 3, 1977 was incorporated and renamed to Apple Inc. in 2007 due to its focal point on consumer electronics.
