I have many years of experience working with at-risk populations especially children and families who fall victim of some type of abuse. I hold a high interest in serving socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and have extensive experience working with both children and adults who have a physical and/or mental impairment. I work well under pressure and during times of crisis. I am able to engage and build a strong rapport with my clientele and help them succeed in establishing safe and healthy lives.
Throughout my professional career, I have been certified to lead evidence-based practice groups as well as provide one-on-one sessions with my clientele. I am certified to facilitate the Thinking for a Change (behavioral modification for repeat offenders) module, Family Psychoeducation Group (FPE) as well as the Strengthening Families Program. I have experience in providing educational groups as well as parenting support groups.
