CRISTIANO RONALDO’S GOLDEN BALL

Last week was the ceremony of the Golden Ball, where several awards were granted.
Several awards were given such as, the Puskas Award for the best goal of 2013, Golden Ball for best player of 2013, the Golden Ball for the best female player of 2013, the best team of 2013 , etc.
FIFA announced the best eleven in 2013, at the Golden Ball Ceremony where Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the forwards. The Portuguese international integrates the best team of the year alongside with Ibrahimovic and Messi, in the attack. Other members of the best team of 2013 are: Goalkeeper: Neuer, Defenders: Dani Alves, Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva and Lahm and Midfielders: Ribery, Xavi and Iniesta.
Thereafter, was given the "Puskas" award for the best goal of 2013, which was won by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Afterwards, the award for the best female player of 2013 was given to Nadine Angerer.
And finally, the most expected moment of the night, when were given the Golden Ball for the best player of 2013. Cristiano Ronaldo was the winner, with more votes than Leo Messi, who was the second, and Ribery, who was the third.
In my opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo deserved it, but as he says, “he deserves it all every year”, because the hard work that he does every day. However, especially this year, he deserved more, because he has scored nearly 70 goals (top scorer in Europe) and has played very good games all year.
From my point of view, Messi is the least who deserved it, because he has been injured much of the season and has not played very well.
Furthermore, Ribery should have won it, because last year, his team won all the championships he played (including the champions league).
Finally, Ronaldo is the first Portuguese player to win two Golden Balls, after the first in 2008, when he was still at Manchester United, beating Eusebio (1965) and Luis Figo (2001).
