Love View in The Little Prince
The Little Prince, first published in 1943, is both the most-read and most-translated book in French literary history, and was voted the best book of the 20th century in France. It said to be a great work which outsold only by The Bible, and has been translated into more than 250 languages, selling nearly two million copies annually with sales totaling over 140 million copies worldwide, it has become one of the top best-selling books ever published. This great work’s author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, was a French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator, and he gained high achievement both as a writer and a pilot, his status as a pilot has close relationship to almost all of his works, including The Little Prince.
The Little Prince is a fairy tale, with watercolor illustrations by the author, in which a pilot stranded in the desert met a young prince fallen to Earth from a tiny asteroid. The story takes the pilot as a storyteller, telling the story of the little prince from his planet to the earth in the process of experiencing all kinds of adventures, and the experience of both of them living together.
