In general, each nation has their own culture. We can see the culture appears everyday, every time in our society. Culture can be appeared in the way which people think or solve their problems in their country. It can be the belief, the religions or just the habits of a group of people. It must belong to a group and people in that group do and think as the same way. It reflects to the community and the unification of society. It was described in the book America: The United States from World War II to the present, by M. Allan Winkler, “the culture reflected that consensus”, “Personal view can cause a lot of trouble”(88). Culture created civilizations, it helps the society be alive and develop. Some of countries become popular nowadays because their culture is very popular. For example, the culture of ancient Egyptian culture, Chinese culture, or the Mesopotamia culture, those cultures are very popular because it was created and alive for a long time.
According to Margaret L. Andersen and Howard F. Taylor in the book Sociology, Understanding a Diverse Society, “Culture defines the way of life for a given group or society. It includes beliefs, values, knowledge, art, morals, laws, customs, habits, language, and dress”(54). Or, another way of defining written by Kenneth J. Neubeck and Davita Silfen Glasberd in the book Sociology, Diversity, Conflict and Change: “Culture is an agreement among a society’s members about appropriate behavior, values, beliefs, history and heritage”(111). As the definitions, culture is the things created by human for a long time. And it owns the specific characteristics of the group who created the culture. For example, Chinese use hieroglyphics to record what they want to tell in their documents while Spanish use Latin words to write into their documents.
